MISSIOn:
Pine Crest is committed to a child-centered, emergent curriculum, play based approach to early childhood education within our beautiful natural setting in which all members of our community are encouraged to learn in the context of relationships that are built at our school. We believe in educating the whole child through a developmentally appropriate balance of guided exploration, peer to peer scaffolding, and unrestricted play in both our indoor and outdoor classrooms. Our thoughtful educators use observation and collaboration to intentionally promote all developmental domains of learning for each child, including: social/emotional, gross and fine motor, cognitive, and language/literacy.
